Palazzo Dello Sport Italy

Trivia

I remember going by the Palazzo Dello Sport in the Euro section of Rome quite often during my 2 years of residence in that city. The most memorable event I remember was the Beattles Concert in 1965 which I attended I still can hear the screams of the fans and all the feintings that occured during the concert. The magic that the Beattles had on the audience I feel it will be never repeated.

On other occasion during memorable boxing matches to earn a few Dollors (actually cheap Liras) me and some friends of mine would take possessions of a hundred yards of street and treat as a private parking lot. We would charge people to park there and when the section was full we would enter the arena and enjoy the match (Of course for free since we knew a lot of the guys that manned the doors).
