Dear Friends

Ever since time began, one of the favorite things that people like to do is blame others for their shortcomings. I have made quite a habit at bypassing that stage of the game and making up for mine by doing more than I should so I can end up with some insurance. I have noticed that unsuccessful people always attribute the success of others on luck. I can’t recall ever hearing somebody associating my success with 25 years of overpouring sweat due to the hard work that took to get me from there to here. It is quite amazing to think that 95% of Americans retired with a built in need for the social security contribution in order to survive. It is also surprising to me the hundreds of billions of dollars been spent on lottery tickets by the people that do not pay taxes because of their low income. Imagine what it would be if that money was to be saved. I know that the state government would be upset for sure when that cash cow would be missing. I laugh and fill sorry at the same time when I hear the frequent commercials on the radio paid for by the Texas lottery commission in which people are encouraged to “scratch and get rich”. How sad for a state to pose as a pimp. How low we are going to get?
