Dear Friends
It came to my attention the other day that some places in this country are getting out of control. Of course the people fueling this fire will one of these days realise that the math is flawed. The percentage of pay necessary to afford just an apartment sometimes takes 50% of a paycheck. When these people realise that it aint worth working to pay to sleep , they are gonna wake up and stop this madness.

Trivia

34 years ago I was just coming back from a World tour that lasted over 4 and 1/2 months. I remember staying at the Inter Continental Hotel in Bankok for $19.99 per night. At the Hillton Hotel in Istanbul for about the same price. At the Miramar in Hongkong for about $22 per day and at the Tahitian village in Tahiti for $15. I can hardly believe I lived those days of plenty. Of course eating a meal cost me an average of $5 to $10. With $5000 budget I lived for 4 months and brought back home over $2000 . My experience was so unique that all my friends at the time were jealous. Today I look back and treasure the memory.
