In
my opinion one of the most revolutionary ideas in business aimed
at gaining loyalty from customers was the decision over 20 years
ago by American airlines to go a head and established a miles
reward program. It was so successful that with in days it was
copied by the entire airline industry and over the years it spread
in other unrelated industry as well. In the old days there was
the “gold stamp” and “green stamp” program
that made fortune for some people, this new game was aimed at
travelers and it made them loyal to the program they joined. Although
small companies like mine have no chance of competing with programs
like that I too will soon come up with a program that will defiantly
be appreciated and used hopefully by all the customers that discover
us. I might not have had a mathematical program in place but over
the years I have made sure that my customers would get the best
reward I could afford not only on their repeat purchase but on
any multiple beginning purchase and I have never hesitated from
offering the best advice I could ever master.
