I am convinced that the most revered places on earth and the thermometer of our ecosystem are the rainforests. So much is being made and said about the way we are screwing up our planet I feel though that our planet is not so fragile and week. As to let us cause lasting damage (it is just my conviction and opinion)

Being a world traveller as I am it is shocking the news that came from London this week I remember when the world was not even near as voilent and hateful as it is today. There is no doubt that the advent of television has contributed most to the dangerous state in whicn we live. It was almost unthinkable in my early years that one day the world would be this hateful. What we call progress evidently it is sickness because it breeds hatred in the mind of the one who feels that is left behind. The question is who is ahead the guy who just bought a pentahouse in Manhatten in the latest tower or the guy who lives on the side of the river in the Amazon that I visited a few years back ? Personally I think the latter
