The disclosure this week that John Edward has used his wife’s Cancer as a prop for his campaign is in my view the lowest a man in politics or otherwise can get. Supposedly John Edward has encouraged the visitors of his wife website to send a well wishing email. Millions have done so. Those millions were placed in a well thought mailing list and were sent with a request for a contribution to the campaign. Now I know that very few people in the country like trial lawyers other than trial lawyers themselves but when you add to a trial lawyer this kind of an adjective (I do not know whether to call it beggar, slimy, cheap, dislikable or what) to a person like that you definitely do not end up with a person you would like to take to dinner any time soon. I for one would not like to even consider being governed by a president. Like that. How about you?
