GATORS UP!

The photo below shows an alligator upside down and attached by rope to a tree trunk emanating from the water.

The original newspaper story is somewhat bizarre. Apparently deputy Gomer Pyle (a graduate of the Barney Fife Internet school of wildlife management) asked his boss Andy what to do with a dead alligator. His boss told him to put the gator someplace where the body could decay naturally. This was the result.

Other Theories have been advanced since the original story.

Since it is alligator mating season, the gator may have hung himself due to exhaustion or due to frustration. Wildlife Mgt. says he was green with envy.

Gators in Texas usually don’t eat Texans.

The boots cause severe indigestion and constipation.

But, this one could have eaten a cowboy and was trapped by the lasso.
