Ever Wonder why Judges wear those Graduation Robes while sitting on the Bench? This may be a clue

Those in my age bracket will remember the original Saturday Night Live weekly series with some of the best comedians ever.
One of their weekly skits was "Here Comes the Judge" Here Comes the Judge; Order in the Court; Here comes the Judge."

Well, it seems an OKie judge took them seriously and got caught.


It makes me wonder whether guilty parties can appeal their verdicts based on the judge being in Fantasyland.
